Babylon Bears (the band) are a group of human musicians based in the UK not LA. Congleton, in leafy Cheshire, has been known as Beartown since the Middle Ages when the good citizens raised enough wedge to buy the town a Bible and then thought “F it, let’s get a bear instead!” This was not driven by any humanitarian motives, but so they could set a pack of dogs on them for entertainment. You may hear less bloodthirsty explanations of the Beartown handle, but this is the bear-faced truth.

David Nicklin on vocals, guitar and mandolin.. He enjoys creative writing and dressing like an Australian’s nightmare. Please continue to encourage him by following him, the band and his alter-ego Dr. Rudyard Lake on Facebook.

On the bass and backing vocals Mr Mike Pearson. Mike also plays guitar and piano and can make a song bop along nicely. He was once a member of Puzzle Factory (the puzzle is which one) and loves cereal. He once played a one note guitar solo.

On the drums, Mr Dave Gudgeon. Most recently playing with a symphonic metal band, Dave admits to having streampunk articles in his wardrobe.
S

Oex Clarke played sax on Chez Moi. Alex plays jazz usually and is totally amazing. If you like jazz you should definitely check her out!
On lead guitar, Mr Steven Bell. “Leb” and Dave were in Stipe REM Tribute together at one point and he was the original bassist for Babylon Bears. Now he’s back with his 6 string attack And he ain’t lookin’ back!
Thanks to all previous member and contributors to this project. You know who you are. I hope your conscience gives you hell!
